It would have to be when I started generating the surf art. It has helped my art go in a very positive direction.
I would like to publish a picture book. I would really like to publish a companion to the nautical series that would perhaps be more of a short story or poem book. I already have a title for it “The Sonnet of Dicky Moe”.

I think I was 7 and got a 64 pack of Crayola Crayons with the cool plastic sharpener on the back. I was doomed from that point forward.
My friend Mike Schoen, he got me into surfing and surf art and if my pivotal moment is when my art took on the surf art direction then I would have to say it’s his fault.

Tyler Hatzikian. Tyler is an awesome surfer and shaper and for the short time that I have known him, just a genuine great guy. I think I’m a nice person but if for a day I could surf like Tyler I would be so stoked!
